The staff is excellent, friendly and courteous. The rooms are comfortable and spotless clean. The complimentary breakfast was way better than we expected. The hotel is great; it's a shame that the area is not.

While it's a rough location, the staff really go above and beyond to take very good care of their guests. Patricia helped me and was the most caring and informative soul that made the trip special. Thank you !

We had a girls trip here for a week. Service was amazing and the rooms easily fit us. The location is a bit sketchy at night, but for the most part we drove rather than walked (there is a parking garage as well). The breakfast was surprisingly super good for being included for free every morning! We all loved the pancakes and biscuits and gravy

It’s a great find in downtown L.A. that included free parking and breakfast. I arrived late the first night and most of the parking spots were taken. All the other nights were easy to find parking. The front desk staff was friendly when I checked in. They greeted us every time we leave the hotel or return to it. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was decent. Overall, it was a great deal. I would stay here agin if we’re in town.

I had a great stay at this Holiday Inn. Here are my key takeaways: Service: Outstanding. Every staff member was kind and always greeted you—something I’ve never experienced at a Holiday Inn Express, only at Intercontinental hotels. Cleanliness: Very clean overall, though some carpets had stains and could use a refresh. Breakfast: Really good, with someone always ready to refill items or assist with special requests. Location: Central to many LA tourist spots, but you will need a car. The MacArthur Park area has changed a lot, with many homeless individuals and some unwanted noise at night—unfortunately not something the hotel can control. Safety: Well lit, security present, and constant police patrols made the property feel secure. Especially when arriving late at night. Overall: A great stay with excellent service and comfort. I would stay again if needed, though it’s not my preferred area of LA.

I can say that this hotel can be a value option for a short stay in Los Angeles. We stayed for one night on 6 August while traveling to Anaheim. The Reception as well as Kitchen staff were very helpful and courteous, and even the breakfast was good. However, the surroundings felt quite creepy and somewhat filthy, which was a downside. That said, since our stay was very short, we chose to overlook these aspects. For a brief overnight stop, the hotel serves its purpose reasonably well.

The hotel staff here were extremely kind to us. We felt very welcomed and the staff always provided a 10/10 service. If you had any questions, they were able to help you right away. They also provide a very yummy breakfast every morning. I had a really great stay and will definitely staying here again!

Thank you AIDA! My Mom and I had excellent customer service at this Holiday Inn! Aida and the team provided us a warm welcome, personalized service, and helpful introduction to the hotel's amenities. There's a free breakfast bar with egg whites, eggs, oatmeal, breakfast potatoes, waffles, and more! I spotted a juice bar and coffee stations. Coffee is available around the clock, even after the buffet closes! Shoutout out to Holiday Inn, the coffee was hot and delicious. If you're looking for dinner or lunch, there's a small snack nook near the front desk with microwaveable meals and cold drinks. The nook also has Tylenol and some other items you've might've forgotten at home. We took a couple laps around the hotel and noticed ice machines, a pool, and gym. I felt safe, however we heard screaming in the middle of the night nearby and it was quite startling. The neighborhood is a little rough, and it's near a bustling part of LA. We heard some sirens and antics in the parking lot, however our car was safe. Security seemed to be walking around. This hotel didn't feel sketchy or creepy, it was super clean and comfortable. Just be aware in case you're not good with noise. Our rooms were fantastic, the beds were cozy and we were equipped with a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker. Parking was FREE, this hotel is an 8 min drive from LA Live, Crypto Arena, and LACC.
